Triptii Dimri reveals getting nervous working with her co-stars Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao

Triptii Dimri is a rising Bollywood actress known for her powerful performances and distinctive screen presence. The ‘Animal’ actress recently opened up about feeling nervous in front of her talented co-stars, Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao, while working with them on the films ‘Bad Newz‘ and ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video‘.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Triptii shared that watching actors like Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao deliver their lines so beautifully left her in awe.She noted how some films require a particular actor to improvise on set, especially in comedy, where one needs to be constantly alert. In contrast, drama allows more time to settle into the role, which she initially found more challenging.
Reflecting on her experience with Vicky Kaushal, she admitted to being extremely nervous at first. For the first three days, she felt frozen and even hesitated to interact with him due to his impressive performance. It took her about 5-10 days to get comfortable with the crew, the scale of the film, and the director.
The actress described a similar experience on the set of ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, where working on a full-on comedy alongside actors like Rajkummar Rao and Archana Puran Singh left her amazed. She found herself wondering how they delivered their performances so effortlessly. During filming, even the crew and background artists would laugh at their scenes. She was particularly impressed with Rajkummar Rao’s ability to deliver a two-page monologue flawlessly in one take. Each day on set was a learning experience for her.
Meanwhile, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ is set to release on October 11, followed by her appearance alongside Kartik Aaryan in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, which is scheduled for a Diwali release.
