In her recent interview, Vahbiz Dorabjee opened up about her personal life and revealed the type of life partner she has been looking for after her divorce from Vivian Dsena.
Vahbiz Dorabjee was recently in news as rumours were rife that she might join Bigg Boss 18 as a wild card entrant. Her former husband, Vivian Dsena is already a contestant on the show. In her recent interview, while she refuted the rumours, she opened up about her personal life. She revealed the type of life partner she is looking for and spoke candidly on finding love again following her divorce from Vivian Dsena.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Vahbiz Dorabjee expressed a strong desire for someone who truly understands her, emphasising the need for reciprocal respect in a relationship. She noted, “I want a partner who is my best friend.” She stated how she looks up to her parents, who have been married for 40 years and have been best friends. The actress further stated that she considers marriage to be a partnership.
She went on to share her opinion on finding someone who supports her goals in life. Vahbiz believes that two persons in a partnership should work together to divide tasks. She added, “Be supportive towards your partner, and not be insecure and jealous. Some partners are like, only they want to go ahead in life, and they want you to stay behind, and only I should succeed. I really want someone who is my supporter and well-wishes because having jealousy within partners is bad.”
Vahbiz Dorabjee was married to Vivian Dsena. They tied the knot in 2013 and filed for divorce in 2016. Their divorce was finalised in 2021, and the pair officially parted ways. Both actors appeared together in the popular drama series Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani.
Recently, speaking to Shilpa Shirodkar in Bigg Boss 18, Vivian Dsena stated that he never kept a track of how many years he was married to Vahbiz. “Decent enough years for her to understand, tolerate and get to know who I am. Tolerance is important, it teaches you about life. A man is wrong until he’s not right. Slowly, I started realising things in life. The change in my behaviour and attitude was a long transition. It’s not like I went to sleep one night and woke up a different person the next day. There’s a story behind it,” Vivian stated, talking about his relationship with his ex-wife and their separation. After splitting from Vahbiz Dorabjee, Vivian married Nouran Aly. The couple married in 2022 and now has a daughter.
