Varun Dhawan became a father this year. His wife Natasha Dalal and him welcomed a baby girl. While the actor took to social media to announce that it’s a girl, he had yet not revealed her name. The news was broken first by Varun’s father David Dhawan as he spoke to the paparazzi, post which, Varun took to social media to share the news. His daughter was born on June 3.
He had dropped a video and said, “Our baby girl is here. Thank u for all the good wishes for the mama and the baby.” The ‘Student Of The Year’ actor hadn’t announced her name yet. He’s finally made the big reveal to Amitabh Bachchan on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati‘. Varun who is currently promoting his upcoming series ‘Citadel‘ with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, revealed that the name of his daughter is Lara.
Big B asked him that this Diwali would be special with Goddess Lakshmi arriving at his house. Reacting to this, Varun said, “We named her Lara. I’m still learning to connect with her; as you said, everything changes when a baby comes home.”
Varun further questioned Bachchan about his own parenting experience and if his children ever kept him awake at night. The legendary actor laughed and said that they had this machine which would alert them even if the baby made the slightest noise. “It was a relief to have, and it kept us assured,” he said.
