Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri‘s film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is hitting the screens today. The movie is set to clash with Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra‘, generating significant buzz around both releases.
Early today, cinephiles walked to theaters to experience the Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri’ starrer in theaters, and while some pointed out negative aspects of the film, some couldn’t stop praising the film.
One social media user wrote, “This movie felt like a badly written play executed at the last moment without any practice. The story is so inconsistent that it feels like a different movie after every 10-20 minutes. Seriously, you need Julia to watch this film. Rating -1.5/5”
Someone wrote, “Guys do watch this! @writerraj is a master of taking the audience on a roller coaster ride. Rolling on the floor wala roller #VickyVidyaKaWohWalaVideo”
On social media, a movie lover wrote, “Too many characters. Except Vijay Raaz, no one really impresses. #TriptiDimri is the weakest of all. #RajkumarRao is just okay. The writing and direction of the film are below AVG. After a certain point, you barely laugh or find the film entertaining.”
Another user wrote, “Rajkummar Rao is that friend who graduated top of the class but keeps showing up at jobs that don’t deserve him. We know you’ve got range, bro—now let’s see you flex it in the right script! #TalentWasted #MoreThanThis#VickyVidyaKaWohWalaVideo.”
Another enthusiastic viewer wrote, “Vicky Vidya super entertaining Vijay Raaz RKR #VickyVidyaKaWohWalaVideo.”
In the film, Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri portray a newly married couple who misplace the recording of their first night together. Vijay Varma plays a cop, while Mallika Sherawat is cast as his one true love, who is indifferent to her ‘aashiq.’
Following ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, Rajkummar has several upcoming projects, including Maalik, backed by Kumar Taurani and Jay Shewakramani, as well as an untitled film with Wamiqa Gabbi, produced by Dinesh Vijan.
