Former Bollywood actress and late music composer Aadesh Shrivastava’s wife Vijayta Pandit has recently stirred attention with a series of deeply emotional and bold revelations. From talking about the struggles she and her son has been facing after the demise of Aadesh, to the promise Shah Rukh Khan made but failed to fulfill, her words sparked debate.

“I want to remind Shah Rukh that this is the time, come and help my son”
Vijayta Pandit during her interaction with Lehren Retro mentioned that her son Avitesh is not leaving any stone unturned to achieve success in his line of work.However, he isn’t getting any support from the film industry. In a time when people are aware that Aadesh is no more, they should come forward and help Avitesh. She also recalled the time Shah Rukh Khan came to see the late music composer when he was counting his last breaths.
“You won’t believe when Aadesh was in the hospital, Shah Rukh Khan used to come and meet him. One day before he died, Aadesh held Shah Rukh’s hand, when he could not even talk, and gestured, pointing towards our son that he should look after him. Today, I am just not able to contact Shah Rukh; the number that was given to my son is not working. I just want to remind Shah Rukh that he was a good friend of Aadesh, and this is the time we need you. I need you for my son because he is my and our family’s future. I am not earning, I am not doing anything,” she said.
She suggested Shah Rukh under her banner can make a movie with her son, as Avitesh is a good actor. She mentioned that Avitesh is currently doing an OTT project ‘Sir Ek Friday’, he is a hard worker and needs a little push.
“Now that he has promised, I want to ask him to help my son; he needs you; he does not have a father. Aadesh made you promise that so you have to do something,” added the former actress.

When Vijayata visited Rajendra Kumar’s house after knowing that he wishes to cast her in ‘Love Story’ opposite his son, the producer told her ““I have a request that I will take your screentest. Don’t worry, you just have to read the dialogues and show your face on screen.”
Though this was supposed to be her debut movie, the actress, so sure of her skills, bluntly said no to doing a screentest. “I know I can act, but I will not give a screentest,” she replied.
Rajendra Kumar was shocked to hear her reply and then he called Raj Kapoor, who suggested, “So make her do any acting course, so that you’ll also get confidence.”

Sandhya Pandit who went missing in 2012, was announced dead after her partial skeleton was found. Recalling that time, Vijayata recently shared, “She (Sandhya) was murdered. We never thought that all of a sudden something like this could happen.”
She mentioned that Sandhya was in a happy marriage; thus, it came more as a shock when such an incident came to light. “We never even found her, we found her skeleton. First her family said she has gone missing, so we used to go, me and my brothers Lalit and Jatin, to look for her everywhere. After a long time, they found her bones scattered in different places. It was a very big thing,” she recalled.
She also revealed that her other sister Sulakshana still doesn’t have the slightest clue that Sandhya is not alive. “I never told her because if she finds out, she will die that very moment. I keep telling her that our sister is fine, she lives in Indore, and that she calls me too,” she said.
