Vir Das won an Emmy Award last year for Comedy, for his special ‘Landing’ and made India proud. Now the comedian-turned-actor doesn’t stop there as this year, he’s set to host the Emmy Awards and is the first Indian to do so.

Vir reacted to hosting the Emmy Awards, in a report by The Hollywood Reporter. He said, “I am so happy to be hosting the International Emmys. It’s a massive prestigious night to uphold makers from across a world that I believe is making its best content. I know first-hand how it can be life-changing.”
The International Emmy Awards will be held on November 25 in New York City.
