Dance Deewane 4 will soon get its winner with the reality show nearing its finale. It seems like the last episode of the danced-based show is packed with several surprises for the viewers. But it’s Suniel Shetty who stole the limelight. The makers of the show recently unveiled an intriguing promo for the upcoming episode. It displays the Bollywood actor delivering a smashing performance on a song from his 1997 hit Border.
As displayed in the promo, Suniel Shetty delivered an impactful performance on the sets of Dance Deewane. Inspired by his movie Border, his act included a dance sequence on the heart-touching song, Sandese Aate Hai, followed by the recreation of his iconic bomb climax scene. Through his heart-wrenching performance, the Hera Pheri actor beautifully depicted the emotions of Indian Army soldiers. His infectious energy while enacting the bomb and tanker scenes from Border was praiseworthy.
Meanwhile, Dance Deewane 4 recently got its top 6 finalists who are all set for the final battle on the coming weekend. The top 6 contenders are Taranjot — Kashvi, Chainveer-Chirashree, Yuvraj-Yuvansh, Harsha-Devansh, Varsha-Shrirang and Nitin-Gaurav. Suniel Shetty made his debut as a judge this season whereas Madhuri Dixit was retained from the last season of the show.
Speaking of Suniel Shetty’s iconic 1997 released Border, the multi-starrer patriotic drama also featured Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna and others in key roles. The blockbuster film is now being renewed for a sequel. It has been titled Border 2. The film, directed by Anurag Singh, will feature Sunny Deol and Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead.
“The team behind Border 2 has been working tirelessly to prepare everything and it’s been a long time in the making as they wanted to do justice to the magnitude of the first film. Now, as the preparations are almost done, the team will begin shooting, as it stands now, the team will begin shooting in October,” Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.
As for Suniel Shetty, the actor is all geared up for his next project, Welcome To The Jungle. The third installment of the Welcome franchise will see the actor playing a pivotal role alongside Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, Sayaji Shinde and Aftab Shivdasani.
