Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan tied the knot in 2007 and it was a private affair. They’ve been together for 17 years and still serving goals. However, the internet is abuzz at the moment with rumours of trouble between them as they arrived separately for the Ambani wedding. Though, the trolls were slammed as they were sitting together inside. But netizens caught Abhishek liking a post on rising divorce cases and that has now raised eyebrows around what’s brewing between them.Some suggest that there’s a rift between Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan and Aishwarya. Amidst this, here’s recalling the time when Abhishek was asked about it by Karan Johar.
During an episode on ‘Koffee With Karan’, which was shot soon after Abhishek and Aishwarya got married, Karan had asked AB about the three women in his life. Karan asked Bachchan, “You feel Abhishek, at any point, you’ve been torn between the three women in your life? Because you know, you have the apple of Jaya aunty’s eyes and Shweta’s life and now you have another woman in your life. Have you ever felt that you need to juggle the act at all?” Aishwarya instantly said, “The only time the wife will be called the other woman.”
Responding to it, Abhishek had very wisely said, “I think credit has to be given entirely to the girls. I have very little to do with it. What works also is that Maa and her (Aishwarya) are very close. They talk about everything. When a woman first comes to her husband’s house, she feels a bit out of place, evidently and obviously. I think the only person who can truly fill that void is her mother-in-law.”
