Let’s take a throwback moment when the actor Arjun Kapoor once revealed an interesting fact about his connection with Kareena Kapoor Khan, with whom he starred in ‘Ki and Ka.’
In an old chat with First Post, Arjun shared that he was just 15 years old and in the 10th standard when Kareena made her Bollywood debut with ‘Refugee.’
Having Kareena as a co-actor in Ki and Ka was just great for Arjun, who termed her an acting genius.He mentioned that he liked her dedication and was an on-set performer. Adding, he said it was amazing to share screen space with such talent. Arjun says Kareena would always give her best as she slipped into whatever role changes with so much ease and professionalism.
Recalling the initial days of his friendship with Kareena, Arjun said, “I had met Kareena before she had teamed up, so I knew her back then, and she has not changed at all. I still tease her like I used to tease her back then.” And over the years, Arjun says Kareena’s nature has remained exactly the same, though now she features among the biggest stars of Bollywood. Her bubbly personality and humility have remained exactly the same for Arjun, who values their longtime friendship.
More importantly, Arjun also relayed that their off-screen strong friendship served as the key toward realizing their on-screen chemistry. He says having a co-star he felt comfortable with was important for portraying a believable marriage on film. The strong sense of compatibility was essential, he noted, in making it feel real.
