According to a social media post, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed the assassination of Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique. In the post, the Bishoi gang mentioned that the late Baba Siddique got on their hit list due to his connections with Bollywood, especially Salman Khan, and his alleged links with the underworld. This isn’t the first time the Bishnoi gang has targeted people because of their connection with B-town celebrities, especially Salman Khan.Last year when Punjabi artist Gippy was attacked in Canada, the finger was pointed at Salman by the Bishnoi gang. Responding to it, Gippy clarified that he is not friends with Salman.

In 2023, Gippy Grewal’s house in Vancouver, Canada was attacked. It was a terrifying firing incident that sent shock waves all around the entertainment world. Following the attack, the Bishnoi gang taking to their social media handle took responsibility for the incident. The gang mentioned Gippy’s friendship with Salman as the reason behind the attack.
Their post read – “You consider Salman Khan a brother, but now it’s time for your ‘brother’ to come and save you. This message is also for Salman Khan – don’t be in the illusion that Dawood will save you; no one can save you. Your dramatic response to Sidhu Moose Wala’s death did not go unnoticed. We all know the kind of person he was and the criminal associations he had. You hovered around Vicky when he was in Middukheda, and later, you mourned even more for Sidhu. You’ve now landed on our radar. Consider this a trailer; the full film will be released soon. Flee to any country you wish, but remember, death doesn’t require a visa; it comes uninvited”
Reflecting on the same, Gippy Grewal in his conversation with CNN News18 mentioned that he is not friends with Salman Khan. He met him for purely professional reasons during the launch of his movie, and that too because the producer invited him,
“The producer who backed the film (Maujaan Hi Maujaan) invited Salman to the trailer launch. I met him there. Before that, I met him on the sets of Bigg Boss. I have no friendship with Salman Khan and the anger of it is being taken out on me. For me, it is still shocking and I am unable to process what has happened to me,” said Gippy Grewal.
