Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a popular Bollywood couple, have faced separation rumors recently, and fans are curious about their relationship status. The couple hasn’t commented on these rumors. However, Aishwarya’s mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan, has praised her, showing support and admiration.
In a past episode of Koffee With Karan, Jaya Bachchan spoke warmly about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.She shared, “Amitji, the minute he sees her (Aishwarya), it’s like he’s looking at Shweta coming home. His eyes light up. She’ll fill the vacuum that Shweta left. We have never been able to adjust that Shweta is not in the family, she is out and she is not a Bachchan. It’s tough.” Praising Aishwarya further, Jaya added, “She is lovely, I love her. She is such a big star herself and she has fitted in so well. She is a strong lady and she has a lot of dignity.”
Jaya Bachchan also noted that Aishwarya has never sought to stand out when the family is together. She described Aishwarya as someone who prefers to stay in the background and remain quiet. Jaya mentioned that Aishwarya listens attentively and absorbs everything.
