Kapil Sharma is known for his sense of rumour and sometimes also putting celebs in a spot by asking such questions which are fun yet tricky. During an awards show, which Kapil was hosting, he asked Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone who came stage that which gender throws more tantrums? Ranvee responded, “Ladkiyan karti hain obviously (Girls, obviously),” while Deepika disagreed, arguing that boys have more tantrums.
After arguing for a bit, Deepika told Kapil to ask the same question to the more experienced couple while gesturing towards Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. This was at the Star Screen Awards. Kapil seized the opportunity and asked Big B, “Sir ghar mein zyada kinki chalti hai? (Who has the final word at home?)” Responding to it, Bachchan said, “Mere ghar mein toh aapki chalti hai. (In my house, you have the final word.)” Kapil was thrilled by the answer and joked, “How sweet of you, sir. Mera payment badha diya aapne market mein itni baat bol ke. (You have helped me increase my payment by saying that.)”
This left everyone in splits. However, Abhishek Bachchan and his sister Shweta Bachchan had joked on ‘Koffee With Karan’ that at the Bachchan household, everyone has to listen to and follow the rules made by their mother Jaya Bachchan. It’s she whose presence dominates their house and even Big B cannot disagree to it.
Meanwhile, Deepika can playfully ask Kapil to ask this question with Bachchan as she continues to share a great bonding with the senior actor after playing his daughter in ‘Piku’. They recently worked together in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
