Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan tied the knot in 2012, and it’s been more than 12 years since their marriage. While speaking to Mid-Day in 2018, Kareena discussed finding the perfect balance between work life and personal life. She also revealed how life has changed after the arrival of their first child, Taimur Ali Khan. Kareena emphasized that her family, husband, and son are the most important things to her.She loves being a mother as much as she loves her work and wants to set an example for others by acing that balancing act.
The actress was told that she wouldn’t get films after marriage, but she changed that by doing many films post her marriage. Even if doing fewer films turns out to be a mistake, she is okay with it and doesn’t regret the path she has chosen. Kareena emphasized that while movies will continue, she will focus on doing one film at a time.

Kareena added that her husband isn’t a businessman who comes home at 6 pm; he is an actor too, so they must balance their time for their son Taimur between them. They have decided to do one film each.

They welcomed their second child, Jehangir Ali Khan, in 2021, and Kareena resumed working after weeks of her delivery. When discussing working through pregnancy, Kareena shared that she had no proper plan but rejected the idea of sitting idle. She asserts that being active during pregnancy and after delivery is beneficial for both mother and baby, advocating for the health benefits of staying engaged. Kareena believes in balancing time between caring for the child, pursuing personal interests, and maintaining a career. She expresses pride in being a working mother and challenges societal norms regarding women’s roles during and after pregnancy.
