Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput recently celebrated 9 years of marital bliss. Mira’s anniversary post for Shahid encapsulated their cherished moments together. Meanwhile, Shahid dropped an unseen picture with her and called Mira his ‘happy place’. While they indeed serve couple goals, each day, here’s recalling an incident on ‘Koffee With Karan‘ which further displayed their bonding.Mira is known to be quite honest and she didn’t think twice before taking a dig at Karan Johar, thus showing support towards her husband Shahid.
During an episode on the show, Shahid had appeared with Mira and during the rapid fire round, here’s what Karan had asked. KJo asked Mira to rank these actors in order of talent and the names on the list included, “Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur.”
Shahid immediately interuppted and asked Karan why is he not on the list. Mira responded and took a dig at Karan saying, “because he never asks, he never mentions you in any of his lists.” Mira’s comment left Karan shocked and surprised, while Shahid was in splits.
Indeed, Mira was quite observant to gauge that Shahid isn’t really there is any of the lists during the rapid fire. Shahid and Mira tied the knot on July 7, 2015. They have two children – Zain and Misha. Mira recently revealed that she almost had a miscarriage when she conceived Misha but it took three to four months of bed rest and a lot of care, post which Misha was delivered.
