Nia Sharma was recently confirmed as the first contestant on the upcoming Big Boss 18.
Nia Sharma has officially been announced as the first contestant for Bigg Boss 18, creating a wave of excitement among her fans. The big reveal came during the grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, where host Rohit Shetty shared the news, confirming that the Naagin actress will be entering the Bigg Boss house.
Following this, Nia received a flood of congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities. Her participation in the popular reality show has left her fans excited, particularly after her recent stint on Laughter Chefs: Unlimited Entertainment, where her comic timing and fun antics won over audiences.
As anticipation grows for Nia’s upcoming journey in the Bigg Boss house, a throwback video from Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 has resurfaced online, showing Nia’s fearless spirit. In the video, Nia is seen performing a daunting stunt involving electric shocks. What truly amazed her fellow contestants was how effortlessly she completed the task without showing any signs of discomfort or pain. Despite facing continuous electric currents, Nia handled the challenge with surprising ease, earning the admiration of those around her.
Both Ravi Dubey and Rithvik Dhanjani were left stunned by Nia’s ability to endure the stunt without hesitation. They couldn’t believe that she wasn’t expressing any pain, especially considering the intensity of the challenge.
Seeing Nia’s performance, Rithvik who had also performed the task, questioned, “Isko current lag bhi raha hai? Isko current lag hi nahi raha (Is she even receiving the electric shock? I don’t think she is receiving any shock).” Meanwhile, Ravi, pointing at Rithvik, said, “I cannot believe this. Usko current lag hi nahi raha. Yeh paaglon ki tarah chilla raha tha (She is not feeling any electric shock. He was screaming like a mad person). How is it possible?”

When Lopamudra Raut suggested that Nia might have been hiding her pain, Ravi immediately disagreed, responding with, “Are you serious?” Rithvik also found the idea hard to believe.
Once Nia successfully completed the task, host Rohit Shetty was visibly annoyed by the reactions from Ravi and Rithvik. He firmly addressed them, saying, “Don’t use the word partiality here. I am really upset with you guys. Be a good loser.”
Nia Sharma made it to the top five in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8. Shantanu Maheshwari claimed victory and Hina Khan secured the runner-up spot. However, Nia won Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made in India, a special edition celebrating past contestants from previous seasons.
