Back in 1999 when Salman Khan, Tabu, and Sonali Bendre were shooting for ‘Hum Sath-Sath Hai,’ they were accused of hunting blackbucks in Rajasthan. The ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ actor was arrested in the case but later got bail.
The respective case has been reopened, closed, and been a topic of discussion over the years. Currently, the blackbuck case is back in the limelight.Reports suggest that blackbucks are considered sacred in infamous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s community and Salman’s connection to its alleged hunting has got him in trouble with the gang.
Amid all this, an old interview clip of Salman has resurfaced. The video is from his 2008 interview, where while on the show ‘On The Couch With Koel,’ Salman Khan denied shooting the blackbuck.
The host referred to Salman as a victim of ignorance, she expressed that perhaps if Salman had been aware blackbuck was an endagered animal, things would have been different. Reacting to the same, Salman Khan said, “There’s a long story there. And… I wasn’t the one who shot the blackbuck.”
Meanwhile, coming back to 2024, Salman Khan, last week received a threatening message demanding Rs 5 crore to settle the long-standing feud with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. However, recently, the same sender sent an apology letter to the Mumbai police stating that the message was ‘sent by mistake.’
It all began when on October 18, 2024, the Mumbai Traffic Police’s control room got the threat message. According to the reports, Mumabi Police said the location of the person who sent the threat message and then apologized for the same was tracked from Jharkhand.
Amid all this, Salman Khan isn’t letting his work suffer. Earlier, reports were doing the rounds that he might not be doing his cameo in ‘Singham Again,’ but the latest update says he is fulfilling his promise to Rohit Shetty. With tight security amid the threats, Salman continued with his shoots.
