Actor Akshay Kumar, who was recently seen in ‘Khel Khel Mein‘ will soon be seen in Siddharth Anand’s action movie, which will be directed by Milan Luthria.
As per the latest report by Pinkvilla, Siddharth has assembled the director-writer duo Milan Luthria and Rajat Arora to develop an action film with a vigilante theme. The report further added that once the script was finalized, the team agreed that Akshay Kumar was the ideal choice for the film.Upon reading the script, Akshay also felt that it was the right project for him to join at this stage of his career.
The report further claimed that Akshay Kumar is ‘excited’ about the project and ready to embrace the new challenges it will present. According to the report, Akshay, who loves the action genre and is always eager for challenges, will be seen in a unique new avatar in Milan Luthria’s directorial. This role is expected to honor the legacy he has built in action films.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s recent release, Khel Khel Mein, has been struggling at the box office. Premiering on August 15, the film faced competition from Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’ and John Abraham’s ‘Vedaa’. As of now, Khel Khel Mein has yet to cross the Rs 20 crore mark.
