Shahid Kapoor and Anees Bazmee were set to collaborate for a comedy post the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. The film was supposed to begin in August 2023 but Shahid walked out of the project due to creative differences. Anees then went on to make ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ which is now a big hit. However, in a recent interview, the director has said that he still has that project on mind.
He further praised Shahid and said that he has no grudge for anyone. When asked if he would ever make that film again, Anees said during a chat with News18, “I still have that film in my mind.” He further added, “Mujhe kisi se na dushmani hai na naaraazgi.” (I neither have enmity with anyone nor any grudges).”
Bazmee added that Shahid has his own way of working and thinking and that may not align with the other person. But that’s perfectly fine. Anees added that if their sensibilities match in the future, they will definitely collaborate again.
He revealed that this situation has not affected their relationship and bonding. Anees said that Shahid always greets him with love and respect and it’s also the same from his side. The director feels that if they do collaborate in the future, they will make a great film together.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ had clashed at the box office with ‘Singham Again’ and has now taken a lead over the Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty movie. ‘BB 3’ has now crossed Rs 233 crore at the box office in India.
