After the success of ‘Raanjhanaa‘ in 2013, director Aanand L Rai and actor Dhanush are reuniting for another epic romance titled ‘Tere Ishk Mein.’ Announced a year ago with a special video, the cast has still not yet been confirmed, giving way to buzz that Kriti Sanon is in talks to play the female lead in this musical love story.
According to reports, Kriti is in advanced talks to star opposite Dhanush.The actress has reportedly heard the narration from director Rai and has shown keen interest in playing the part. Besides the story, the actress particularly likes her character’s arc and the way it transforms in the story.
While she has reportedly agreed to play the role, she has yet to sign the dotted line.
Reports also mentioned that the makers are looking to cast one more actor in addition to Dhanush and Kriti. The makers are reportedly in talks with multiple actors and will take their pick soon.
‘Tere Ishk Mein’ is expected to start filming in October 2024 and release in 2025. Meanwhile, Kriti is preparing for the release of ‘Do Patti.’ Additionally, director Aanand L Rai, is awaiting the release of his next production titled ‘Nakhrewaalii’ which stars Pragati Srivastava in a lead role and is set to be released on Valentine’s Day 2025.
