Veer Zaara starring Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukerji was the highest grossing Indian film of the year in India, overseas, as well as worldwide. It is still regarded as one of the most beautiful love stories of Bollywood.
In its re-release, Veer Zaara will re-release in the following global markets like USA, Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Australia, Newzealand, Fiji, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa.
The re-release prints of Veer Zaara will include the iconic deleted song ‘Yeh hum aa gaye hai kahaan’. It is the first time that the song will be a part of the movie.
While on the film’s lead star, Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 59th birthday on November 2, but did not appear in front of fans outside his residence, Mannat, due to security concerns. However, he made a special effort to meet a devoted fan from Jharkhand who had waited outside for over 95 days, taking a photo with him that has since gone viral on the internet.
A devoted fan from Jharkhand, Shaikh Mohammed Ansari, reportedly left his business behind to camp outside Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, Mannat, for months in hopes of meeting his idol.
Talking to Instant Bollywood, Shaikh Mohammed Ansari revealed that he had closed his business for over a month, driven by his determination to meet Shah Rukh Khan, whom he called his “favorite hero.” For him, meeting Khan represented the ultimate victory and had turned into an obsession.
Shah Rukh Khan also took to Instagram and thanked his fans for making his birthday special. Sharing a picture doing his iconic pose, he wrote, “Thank you for coming over and making my evening special… my love to everyone who made it for my birthday. And for those who couldn’t, sending you all my love.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in the upcoming film ‘King’, which stars Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. It has been reported that filming is scheduled to start in Mumbai in January, with the first schedule taking place there before an extensive shooting period in Europe. Multiple scouting trips have been conducted by the production team across Europe to find unique locations that will enhance the film’s grandeur.
