In a recent interview with The Lallantop, Honey Singh was asked about the possibility of reuniting with former collaborators Raftaar and Badshah.Honey expressed that while Raftaar has released more diss tracks than Badshah, he still respects Raftaar for his talent and background. Singh revealed that he had discovered Raftaar from humble beginnings but felt that Raftaar’s shift in allegiance was influenced by others.
Honey Singh also shared that Raftaar once apologized to him during their travels, but shortly after, released another diss track. Singh noted that Raftaar often focused his lyrics on others rather than himself. He mentioned that if given the chance, he would definitely work with Raftaar, Lil Golu, and Ikka, as they are stars who emerged from the streets. However, he made it clear that a collaboration with Badshah is not on the cards.
When questioned about his feelings toward Badshah, Honey Singh remarked that anger is reserved for those close to you, not for outsiders or clients. He referred to Badshah as a “client” because their initial meeting occurred when Badshah’s father sought Honey’s help to create music for his son’s English song, marking Honey’s first collaboration with Badshah’s affluent family.
Yo Yo Honey Singh is currently promoting his latest album, Glory.
