Rajkumar Periyasamy‘s directorial is about the life story of the late Indian soldier Mukund Varadharajan, and Sivakarthikeyan reprised the brave soldier’s role to deliver a stunning performance. Sivakarthikeyan turned superfit to match his role in ‘Amaran’ and the film was expected to have a shirtless scene of the actor revealing his six-pack look. The expectations arose after a viral picture of Sivakarthikeyan being shirtless with a six-pack, and it was claimed to be from the sets of ‘Amaran’. But Sivakarthikeyan has now broken silence about the viral picture in his interaction with Vijay Television. Sivakarthikeyan revealed that the viral six-pack picture of the actor was a morphed one, and he was surprised to see it on social media.
But after the viral picture, Sivakarthikeyan received wide responses about the fake six-pack look from his friends and fans. Some refused to believe it was fake as they thought the ‘Amaran’ actor was keeping the look a surprise to unveil it on big screens. Sivakarthikeyan was more shocked by their reaction and had a laugh over stories created through social media. Sivakarthikeyan then added that he never tried for a six-pack look for his character as ‘Amaran’, instead he just aimed to have flat abs for his role as an army man in ‘Amaran’.
‘Amaran’ grossed over Rs 150 crore in 4 days to have a successful opening weekend, and the film has become Sivakarthikeyan’s fastest film to achieve the mark.
