A fan account shared a video capturing the moment when the singer was visibly disheartened by the guard’s treatment of a female attendee. He noticed that the fan was being restrained by the neck and publicly apologized to her amid the performance.

In the video shared by his fan on Twitter, the woman questioned the security personnel for pushing her while holding her neck. Arijit soon began speaking in the middle of his performance, saying, “It’s not fair to grab somebody like that” (keeping his hand on his neck). He then told the guards, “Guys, please sit down.” He addressed the lady, saying, “I am really sorry, ma’am. I wish I could have been there to protect you, but I could not. Please sit down.”
Soon, one fan wrote, “Such a decent human being, first and foremost, Arijit Singh.” Another fan reacted, “Some of our so-called Bollywood superstars can learn a lesson or two from him 🙏.” Many started sharing love and respect for the singer and musician for his caring gesture.
