Now, Deepika’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) personal care startup, 82°E, is planning to raise Rs 50 crore (around $6 million) from both new and existing investors.According to a regulatory filing with the Registrar of Companies, the company’s shareholders have approved the resolution to raise this capital.
Recently, Entrackr reported that Padukone’s venture firm, Ka Enterprises, will join other investors in a new funding round. Ka Enterprises has backed many successful startups in the past. The new funds will be used to help the company grow and expand, according to the filings.

Founded in 2021 by Deepika Padukone and Jigar Shah, the Mumbai-based brand offers a wide range of skincare products for both men and women. In December 2022, the company raised $7.5 million in a funding round led by DSG Consumer Partners and Ideo Ventures, along with Deepika’s firm. According to Tracxn data, the startup made Rs 10.4 crore in revenue from operations in FY23, its first full year in business.
