Jr NTR is one of the biggest superstars in Indian cinema, and with his latest film Devara, he is further cementing his dominance, not just in Telugu-speaking states but also in the Hindi market.

Devara is Jr NTR’s first film post the success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR, and while comparisons with the Hindi success of Prabhas or Allu Arjun are inevitable, Jr NTR is holding his own.Devara is all set to cross the Rs 50 crore mark on Sunday (9th Day).
Devara had a slower start in Hindi compared to the Telugu version on Day 1, collecting just Rs 7.5 crore while the Telugu version earned Rs 72 crore. However, as the days progressed, the Hindi version solidified its position, even as the Telugu version began to dip. By the end of the first week, the Telugu version had earned Rs 164 crore, while the Hindi version stood at Rs 44 crore.
On the second Friday, Devara saw a slight dip, collecting Rs 2 crore compared to Thursday’s ₹2.25 crore. However, Saturday saw a 35% jump, with the film collecting Rs 3 crore, bringing the Hindi version’s total to ₹49 crore and setting it up to cross the ₹50 crore mark by the end of the day.

Next week, the film will face tough competition with the release of Alia Bhatt’s Jigra and Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
Devara marks the Telugu debut of Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, while Bobby Deol plays the antagonist in the second installment. The film features Jr NTR in a dual role, portraying both Devara and Vara. Jr NTR will next be seen alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji.
