Udaariyaan actor Abhishek Kumar skyrocketed to fame after participating in Salman Khan’s reality show, Bigg Boss 17. Although he finished as the second runner-up and didn’t take home the trophy, his fanbase grew significantly during his time on the show. Recently, Abhishek returned to the same Ganpati pandal where he had prayed for success before entering the BB house, to offer thanks after his wishes were fulfilled. The actor expressed how his faith in Lord Ganesha has played a pivotal role in shaping his career and success.
He had made a special wish to Bappa. In an interview with ETimes, the actor revealed, “Before I entered Bigg Boss, I had made a heartfelt wish to Ganpati Bappa. I wished for my career to flourish and for me to perform well in Bigg Boss, hoping that everyone would shower me with love and support.”
Abhishek continued, “Today, as I look back, I realise how beautifully Bappa has fulfilled that wish. My journey has been incredible, filled with love, blessings, and opportunities. I feel so grateful, and from the bottom of my heart, I just want to say a big thank you to Ganpati Bappa for making all of this possible.” The Udaariyaan actor’s three-month journey inside the BB house wasn’t easy. Abhishek faced it all, from having ugly fights with his co-contestants to regular spats with his ex-girlfriend Isha Malviya and infatuation with Khanzaadi.
Meanwhile, taking some time from his busy schedule, Abhishek visited the iconic and revered Lalbaugcha Raja for the first time. The Punjab-born actor shared in a video that he will be visiting the place every year from now on. Dressed in an all-white traditional outfit, Abhishek sought blessings at the iconic pandal. He also met with a few of his fans during his darshan.
After his stint in Bigg Boss, the actor participated in the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. On Tuesday, he shared a clip of him performing a stunt with the caption, “Har musibat ka saamna kakre yahan tak aaya hoon, In logo k mooh se hamesha main lucky kehlaaya hoon, Inhe kya pata bachpan se ki hui mehnat aaj rang laa rahi hai, Tabhi to aaj rohit Shetty k samne khada ho paaya hoon…”
