The much-awaited trailer of ‘Kalki 2898 AD‘ starring Prabhas in the lead alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone was released on Monday.
While Prabhas and Amitabh’s impressive avatars captivated fans, it was Deepika who pleasantly surprised us as Kalki’s expectant mother. In the film, she will portray a pregnant woman about to give birth to the tenth and final avatar of the Hindu deity Vishnu.
However, this isn’t the first time Deepika will be seen in a maternal role. Deepika amazed us with her portrayal of Shah Rukh Khan’s fierce mother in ‘Jawan’ (2023). She also made a cameo in ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’ (2022) as Ranbir Kapoor’s onscreen mother.
Now, the actress is set to welcome her first child with Ranveer Singh in real life, Deepika is once again portraying a mother onscreen. Fans are thrilled and have been showering her with love ever since the trailer of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ was released.
