Priyanka Chahar Choudhary along with her close friends and family celebrated Ganpati Visarjan on Monday evening.
The Ganesh Chaturthi festivities are in full swing across the country. While many people are engaged in celebrating the 10-day festival, some have already started bidding adieu to Bappa, closing their ceremonies quickly. Among them was popular TV celebrity Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. The Bigg Boss 16 finalist was seen all energetic and cheerful as she enthusiastically took part in the Ganpati Visarjan, joined by her close friend Ankit Gupta. Videos circulating on the internet show the duo doing aarti together, right before the immersion.
While Ankit remained calm and composed, focused on the rituals, Priyanka seemed in high festive spirits as she continued dancing throughout the visarjan. After the rituals, Ankit safely escorted Priyanka to the car before they headed back home.
In another video, the duo could be seen getting into the same car with other friends, who also joined them for the visarjan. Ankit and Priyanka’s longtime friend, Abhishek Kumar, was also a part of the celebrations. Previously, a video showing Abhishek and Priyanka exuding immense festive energy made the rounds on social media. The two danced their hearts out as they bid farewell to Ganpati Bappa.
While Priyanka was decked up in a beautiful purple saree with Maharashtrian-style makeup, Ankit Gupta chose a sea-green coloured kurta. Abhishek also went for traditional attire with a classic white kurta pajama ensemble.
Reacting to the videos, fans couldn’t help but adore the couple’s camaraderie at the ceremony. One wrote, “Bless them,” while another commented, “Ankit is very protective towards her.” “May bappa always bless my Priyankit,” another comment read, while one added, “Priyankit look amazing together.”
For those unaware, Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar have been rumoured of dating each other for a long time now. The two were a part of Bigg Boss 16, where their affection towards each other was quite visible. While both of them continue to maintain silence on their relationship status, their public outings have got fans convinced of their budding romance.
Speaking to ETimes, Priyanka once opened up about her bond with the actor and said, “The bond I share with him is beautiful. I can count on him. I have a strong relationship, and he’s very close. I feel grateful that I have a few friends who are in my good and bad times, and Ankit is one of them.”
