Raveena Tandon reveals her knees and ankles were bleeding while shooting Tip Tip Barsa Pani from Mohra: ‘A rusted nail even pierced through my foot’ Filmymeet

Raveena Tandon recently opened up about the tough experiences she had while filming the iconic song Tip Tip Barsa Pani from Mohra. Known for its sizzling chemistry between Raveena and Akshay Kumar, the song became a symbol of sensuality in its time. However, Raveena shared that the shoot was far from glamorous.
In an interview with Galatta Plus, Raveena recalled the challenges, saying that shooting rain songs was far from enjoyable.The water, she noted, was freezing cold, straight from a tanker. Filming at a construction site added to the challenge, and wearing a saree meant she couldn’t use knee pads or heels.
Raveena also mentioned that during one of her scenes, she had to slide on her knees, which led to her knees and ankles bleeding. She added, “A rusted nail even pierced through my foot, and I had to get a tetanus shot.”

Although Tip Tip Barsa Pani became a glamorous hit, Raveena revealed the reality behind the scenes, explaining, “It looks all glamorous, but it was really painful. We had bruises and injuries, but we had to keep smiling for the camera. After getting drenched repeatedly in cold water, I even caught a fever, but we continued filming for the next three days.”

The movie Mohra was released in 1994, and while the on-screen pair of Raveena and Akshay got engaged after the film, they eventually parted ways. They are now happily married to their respestive spouses, Anil Thadani and Twinkle Khanna. Fans are excited to see them reunite in the upcoming movie Welcome to the Jungle.
