Shraddha Kapoor has been immersing herself in all the accolades she’s getting for her recent film ‘Stree 2‘. The film has broken all the records and become the highest grossing Hindi movie. While on professional front, Shraddha is having the best phase perhaps, even personally, the actress seems to be in a very happy space. Apart from having the most supportive family, Shraddha has now also confirmed that she’s in a relationship and not single.
In a recent interview, she spoke about her partner without taking his name. For those not in the know, Shraddha has been rumoured to be dating Rahul Mody who wrote ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’. The actress had also once dropped a selfie with him hinting at their love, as she wrote, “Dil rakh de, neend toh wapas de de yaar.”
Meanwhile now, in an interview with Cosmopolitan, she confirmed being in a relationship and opened up on her attachment style and the kind of person she is when in love. She said, “Maybe you will need my significant other in this conversation…..like you would have to ask him to be very honest, but I think I have a few Pisces traits, one wherein I definitely love the typical fairytale aspect of love, which is out of this world. You know the kind where you’re like as long as I have you, I don’t need anyone else. Of course, while I have those notions, I also feel like currently in my life, there is a certain amount of realism.”
She further spoke about things she loves doing with him. “I really love spending time with my partner and doing things with him like watching a movie, going for dinner, or travelling. I am generally someone who likes to spend time doing things together or even not doing things together. For instance, even with my school friends, if we don’t meet, it affects my mood. Yesterday, we had a family lunch, which was so uplifting and invigorating, and the same goes for my relationship,” said the actress.
Further more, in this interview, Shraddha also opens up on the joy of staying with her family. Hence, she never feels lonely, even after achieving stardom where the notion is that it is lonely on the top. “At this stage in life, mentally, I am in a very good space. So even though other people may feel lonely at the top, I am blessed to be surrounded by a very close-knit family, which also happens to live in the same society and another set that live five minutes away from our place, plus, I live with my parents, my brother, my two pets, and my brother’s girlfriend, so I am surrounded by the people I love who cheer for me and support me,” said Shraddha.
The ‘Aashiqui 2’ actress also reflected on marriage and said that it’s all about finding the right person. On work front, reports are rife now that post ‘Stree 2’, Shraddha is being considered for ‘Dhoom 4’ where she may team up again with her ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ co-star Ranbir Kapoor.
