Despite Sonkashin Sinha and Zaheeh Iqbal being tight lipped about their wedding, deets from the low-key nuptials have been leaking on the internet. From a magazine styled invite to Salman Khan being on the guest list and festivities beginning from June 22… there is a lot of buzz about this shaadi.
We wondered what the bride would wear? And it reminded us of one of Sonakshi’s recent interviews, wherein she had revealed her dream lehenga for her wedding.
In May this year, Sonakshi Sinha walked ramp at the grand finale of the Bombay Times Fashion Week. She decked up in a stunning black lehenga for the showstopping appearance. She had captioned her pictures as, “Black bride on the runway (sic).” However, when BT asked the actress to describe her bridal pick for her wedding, Sonakshi had said, “It (the black lehenga) is a very beautiful piece and surely fashionable, too, but, whenever I get married, I would like to wear a classic red lehenga.” Going by her confession, one can expect the actress to make a splash in a stunning red attire on June 23, when she gets hitched to longtime beau Zaheer Iqbal.
Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding celebrations will start from June 22 at their family residence in Juhu. The wedding ceremony is scheduled for the morning of June 23, followed by a reception in the evening. The dress code for the event is ‘festive and formal’.
