Saif and Kareena’s love story began on the sets of the 2007 film Tashan.
Saif was seen with a new tattoo design that appeared to have concealed the original “Kareena” ink. This unexpected change sparked a flurry of speculation among fans, who were left wondering if the modification was for a film role or if it signified something more profound in the couple’s relationship.
Back in 2008, when Saif first unveiled the tattoo, he had explained its significance, stating, “I wanted to convey, ‘Look, this is what I have done, and it’s a pretty serious commitment. I can flaunt it whenever someone calls me a Casanova! I’ll say, ‘But I haven’t done that before.'” The tattoo had drawn comparisons to David Beckham‘s similar gesture for his wife, Victoria, further cementing Saif and Kareena’s status as a beloved Bollywood power couple.
The couple’s son, Taimur Ali Khan, had also shown a fascination with his father’s tattoo, often pointing it out and asking about its meaning. Kareena had previously shared, “The most romantic thing is when my son points at it and asks, ‘What is that?’ Like, he is always looking at that tattoo. And Saif is like, ‘This is your amma’s name.’ And Taimur keeps wondering, ‘What is he saying?’ I think that’s a special moment for me.
Saif will be next seen in Devara. The film stars Jr NTR in the lead and marks Janhvi Kapoor‘s debut in the South film industry. Saif will play the role of a police officer in this Telugu-language film.
