Kartik Aaryan, who is gearing up to captivate the audiences and fans with his performance in his upcoming film ‘Chandu Champion’, has been busy with the promotions of his movie. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on June 14, 2024. The biographical drama is based on the life of Paralympic gold medallist Murlikant Petkar. Ahead of its release, Kartik attended the inaugural screening of the film with the cast and crew members.
Kabir Khan hosted an inaugural screening at a theatre in Juhu, Mumbai on June 12, 2023. The screening was attended by the lead actor of the film Kartik Aaryan, Mini Mathur, Kabir Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sonali Kulkarni and other cast and crew members. The event was also joined by none other than Murlikant Petkar himself.

Kartik Aaryan also shared a video from the special screening on Instagram. In the video, Kartik can be seen sitting alongside the legendary Murlikant Petkar and his family. Arjun Petkar, the son of Murlikant Petkar, breaks down in tears as the movie comes to an end and gives Kartik and director Kabir Khan a big hug. Along with the video, Kartik Aaryan wrote, “First screening of Chandu Champion with the Man himself An evening filled with honour, joy and tears with THE REAL CHAMPION The Man who refused to surrender MR MURLIKANT PETKAR.”
Apart from Kartik, the film also stars Bhuvan Arora, Palak Lalwani, and Adonis Kapsalis in pivotal roles.
