Shraddha Arya recently shared that she got to know about her pregnancy during Navratri in April.
Television actress Shraddha Arya and her husband, Rahul Nagal, revealed that they are expecting their first child. The actress posted a video on her Instagram account featuring a glimpse of her positive pregnancy test kit and a picture of her sonography. She wrote, “We are expecting a little miracle!!!” announcing her pregnancy after months of speculations by her fans.
The mom-to-be recently spoke to the ETimes, revealing she got to know about her pregnancy during the auspicious time of Navratri in April. “During the auspicious days of Navratri in April, I was performing this ritual at home of washing the feet of little girls and taking their blessings. This is something I do every year. I remember while serving them food, I felt dizzy, and sometime later, we found out that I had conceived. Rahul and I were overjoyed,” said Shraddha.
The Kundali Bhagya actress further expressed her feelings about this unknown new journey. She added, “It is such a new feeling for me… I don’t know what to expect. All I know is that our hearts are full of joy and it’s only growing by the day. Rahul has been over the moon ever since we got the news. He loves children, and I’m sure he will be a hands-on dad.”
Shraddha, who is due in December, shared that people have congratulated her on her various achievements, but receiving good wishes on her pregnancy has tugged at her heartstrings differently. “I am very emotional and extremely grateful for these blessings,” the actress mentioned. Further, she revealed her plans to take a hiatus from her work to focus on the “little miracle” of her life. Shraddha added, “I’d like to take a little break from my TV show and revel in this new phase of my life. I don’t think I’ll be able to think beyond this little miracle for a while.”
Shraddha married Delhi-based naval officer Rahul Nagal in November 2021. She often shares mushy pictures with her husband on her Instagram account. The actress shared some fun moments with her husband from her birthday bash. For the event, she slipped into an all-black outfit comprising a top, jacket and mini skirt with bow detailing. Sharing the carousel, she wrote, “Never an Easy Task To Get Decent Pics clicked with Husband. Makes you Laugh and roll your eyes at the same time, isn’t it?”
On the work front, Shraddha, who is currently being seen in Kundali Bhagya, has acted in projects like Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, Tumhari Paakhi and Dream Girl.
