Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan marked his 59th birthday with a grand celebration in Mumbai with his fans, and also hosted a private bash with his family.
A video doing the rounds shows that the celebrations extended beyond his residence, Mannat, as Khan’s team distributed some food boxes to the Mumbai Police stationed outside his residence. Videos shared on fan handles saw the police personnel receiving large boxes, reportedly filled with goodies as a gesture of gratitude for their efforts in managing the large crowd of fans gathered outside the actor’s house.
Shah Rukh, on Saturday, was reportedly advised to break away from tradition and avoid posing for photos on the gates of Mannat. The actor, over the years has famously made appearances at the gate to greet the large groups of fans who travel great distances just to catch a glimpse of him on his birthday.
This year, a special closed-door event was organised for fans, which allowed them to be part of the celebration and engage in a personal interaction with the star.
Gauri Khan also shared glimpses of the celebration, featuring their daughter, Suhana Khan.
On the professional front, SRK will next appear in the movie ‘King’, which will see him starring alongside Suhana Khan. The film, set to release in mid-2026, will see the father-daughter in an action-packed movie.
He will also be seen collaborating with sons AbRam and Aryan for the upcoming live-action animated film ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’.
