Kalyani Saha Chawla accuses Shalini Passi of being dishonest and calls her “oshojjho” (intolerable) in an episode of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives.

Delhi socialite Shalini Passi is known for her artistic lifestyle and larger-than-life parties. However, there’s a lot more to her and we get a glimpse of it in the Netflix originals – Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives.
Shalini, usually poised and composed, was seen losing her cool in a rare occurrence. It happened when she got offended by a loose remark from Kalyani Saha Chawla in an episode of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives season 3.
Kalyani Accuses Shalini Of Lying
In episode 4 of the reality TV series, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni invites the Delhi girls Shalini and Kalyani to a lunch-out to let them know face-to-face and the Bollywood wives over call, about her plan for an exotic Mauritius getaway with them. It’s all fine until Riddhima hangs up the call.
She expresses her happiness in getting to meet the Delhi girls to which Kalyani replies “I’m just doing my little lunches with my girlies — things that I never do” and Shalini joins in saying it’s the same for her.
In response to that Kalyani says, “You do lunches, Shalini, your Instagram is a giveaway.” Shalini’s face drops at the comment. She says, “That was my birthday, I haven’t been on a lunch for the last five months.” She even brings her phone and tries to prove her point showing her Instagram posts and highlights to Kalyani.
Shalini feels the loose remark “trivialised” her life. She says, “I don’t go out for lunches because I’m working in the day. I barely go out at night.” She says in her VD, “I’m living for a higher purpose.” Unable to handle her emotions, she walks out saying that she needs a break.

Kalyani, being the sassy Bengali that she is, says in her VD, “Baba re baba she’s oshojjho!” (My God, she’s intolerable!). In the VDs, Riddhima calls Shalini’s behaviour a “rude shock” and Kalyani talks of being “gobsmacked!” Once Shalini leaves, Kalyani tells Riddhima that Shalini goes to lunch-outs every week, portraying her as a dishonest person. The scene then cuts directly to their Mauritius vacation.
Drama Continues In Mauritius
On their first night in Mauritius, the seven of them decide to dine together and Riddhima taking a sly digital at Shalini says that they are happy to have Shalini join them.
To this, Shalini asks why wouldn’t she be a part of it and Riddhima replies, “You don’t lunch, but at least you dine.” A confused Maheep asks what she meant by that and Shalini answers saying “I don’t even sit for dinners.”

Seema joins the conversation asking her, “Do you like look down upon women who lunch together?” Shalini denies it, but Kalyani opposes her saying “No, no. That day you got really upset with me.”
Kalyani takes this opportunity to re-open the closed chapter and narrates the entire lunch-out issue to the Bollywood wives in an animated manner.
The conversation continues at the beginning of the next episode, wherein Bhavana says in the VD that bringing up a topic like that amidst all of them shows how the Delhi girls don’t share a close bond.

However, at the dining table, the Bombay girls were clearly seen enjoying the situation saying things like “I’m loving this drama”. Shalini, however, chose ‘silence with a smile’ to all of this.
Later that night, Riddhima accidentally spills wine on Shalini, but she moves on with a smile even then. Her way of handling things with grace might be one of those reasons that get viewers hooked on her character in the show.
