  • Gopal Krishna Gokhale ji was born on 9 May 1866 at a place called Kohat in the state of Maharashtra, his father Krishna Rao was a clerk by profession.
  • Gopal Krishna Gokhale ji was very good in studies, seeing his good marks, the government used to provide him a scholarship of 20 rupees.
  • He wanted to expand Indian education, so he founded the Servants of India Society.

Shrimad Rajchandra was a Jain poet, philosopher, scholar and reformer. He was born at a place called Morbi in the state of Gujarat. He wrote a book called ‘Atma Siddhi’ which was based on the philosophical poem, which became very famous.

These four sons had 13 grandchildren.

Gandhiji’s descendants are today in India, South Africa, England, Canada, America and Australia.
